Hello !

My name is Aurélie Bouquet and I am a Paris-based concept artist working in the entertainment industry. I am especially fond of environment design and visual storytelling as a whole, and I truly believe that media such as films and video games are one of the most immersive and unique ways to deliver meaningful stories nowadays. I am really passionate about concept art and its inherent problem solving needs, I see it as a never-ending learning process that challenges me everyday. I am very curious about how the entertainment industry will evolve in the coming years, and I am looking forward to contributing to it!

Some of my other interests include fashion design, the bridge between science and art, nature and animals, dancing, and running.

I'm currently looking for a fulltime position starting end of 2019 anywhere in Europe or North America !

  • Concept Artist & Illustrator Intern at Mythic Games
    Paris, France
    August 2018 - December 2018

    During my internship at Mythic Games, I worked on their upcoming projects Solomon Kane and Reichbusters : Projekt Vril. My tasks encompass the creation of concept art for miniatures, the production of illustrations and the painting of board tiles.

  • 2D Artist Intern at UBISOFT PARIS
    Paris, France
    May 2017 - September 2017

    I worked on the mobile game Smurfs: Epic Run for which I created illustrations and 2D in-game assets following the established art direction. Through an iterative process, I participated in the visual development of 3 thematic game updates.

    • Generating visual ideas through moodboards and rough sketches.

    • Creating final illustrations and 2D assets following an established workflow.

    • Providing UI mock-ups for new gameplay features.

  • Environment Concept Artist on INITEN at Supinfogame
    Valenciennes, France
    October 2017 - June 2018

    INITEN is a 3D exploration puzzle-game project which I worked on as an environment concept artist. My role was to help shape the art direction while providing visual ideas through sketches to ensure a cohesive bond between art and gameplay.
